On signing the Framework Convention for the Protection of the Marine Environment of the Caspian Sea

Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated October 30, 2003 No. 1214

   I decree:      

1. To approve the draft Framework Convention for the Protection of the Marine Environment of the Caspian Sea.      

2. Authorize Nurlan Abdildaevich Iskakov, Vice Minister of Environmental Protection of the Republic of Kazakhstan, to negotiate and sign the Framework Convention for the Protection of the Marine Environment of the Caspian Sea on behalf of the Republic of Kazakhstan, allowing him to make amendments and additions to it that are not fundamental.      

3. This Decree comes into force from the date of signing.
