On the signing of the Agreement between the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Russian Federation on the point of junction of the demarcation lines of adjacent sections of the Caspian Sea floor

Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated February 27, 2003 No. 1031

I decree:      

1. To approve the attached draft Agreement between the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Russian Federation on the junction point of the demarcation lines of adjacent sections of the Caspian Sea floor.      

2. To sign an agreement between the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Russian Federation on the junction point of the demarcation lines of adjacent sections of the Caspian Sea floor.      

3. Authorize Kairat Khuatovich Abuseitov, First Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, to sign on behalf of the Republic of Kazakhstan an Agreement between the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Russian Federation on the junction point of the demarcation lines of adjacent sections of the Caspian Sea floor, allowing amendments and additions of a non-principled nature.      

4. This Decree comes into force from the date of signing.
