On the transformation of the State Defense Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan into the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan

Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated May 7, 1992 No. 738

Exercising the sovereign right of the Republic of Kazakhstan to security, in order to strengthen its defense capability, ensure territorial integrity, develop and implement military policy, state legal regulation of military construction and protect the socio-economic rights of military personnel

I DECREE:     

1. To transform the State Defense Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan into the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2. To the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Kazakhstan:

to consider the issues of financial, logistical support for the activities of the Ministry of Defense;

to approve the organizational and staff structure and Regulations on the Ministry of Defense within one month.
