On holding the Year of Kazakhstan in Ukraine in 2007

Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 29, 2006 No. 235

To be published in    Collection of acts of the President and Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan of the Republican press    

     In order to enhance cooperation, strengthen ties between the Republic of Kazakhstan and Ukraine in the economic, scientific, technical and humanitarian fields and implement the agreements reached during the meetings of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the President of Ukraine, I DECREE :

     1. To hold the Year of Kazakhstan in Ukraine in 2007.

     2. The Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan should form an organizing committee for the preparation and holding of the Year of Kazakhstan in Ukraine in 2007 and provide funding for this event.

     3. Control over the implementation of this Decree is entrusted to the Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

     4. This Decree shall enter into force from the date of signing.
