In commemoration of the 60th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, paying tribute to the feat, heroism and dedication of war veterans and home front workers,

I decree:

1. To establish the jubilee medal "1941-1945 lj. Uly Otan sogysyndagi Zheniske 60 zhyl".

2. Approve the attached documents:

1) regulations on the jubilee medal "1941-1945 LJ. Uly Otan sogysyndagi Zheniske 60 zhyl";

2) description of the jubilee medal "1941-1945 LJ. Uly Otan sogysyndagi Zheniske 60 zhyl".

3. Award the jubilee medal "1941-1945 LJ. Uly Otan sogysyndagi Zheniske 60 zhyl" veterans of the Great Patriotic War, home front workers and other persons in accordance with the regulations on this medal.

4. This Decree shall enter into force from the date of publication.

The position of the jubilee medal "1941-1945 LJ. Uly Otansogysyndagi Zheniske 60 zhyl"

1. Jubilee medal "1941-1945 LJ. Uly Otan sogysyndagi Zheniske 60 zhyl" (hereinafter referred to as the jubilee medal) are awarded:

military personnel and civilian personnel who participated in the fighting on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War in the ranks of the Armed Forces of the USSR, partisans and members of underground organizations operating during the Great Patriotic War in the temporarily occupied territories of the USSR, military personnel and civilian personnel who served in the Armed Forces of the USSR during the Great Patriotic War, persons awarded medals "For the victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945", "For the Victory over Japan", as well as persons, having a certificate for the medal "For the victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945" or a certificate of a participant in the war;

home front workers awarded orders of the USSR, medals "For Valiant Labor in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945", "For Labor Valor", "For Labor distinction", "For the defense of Leningrad", "For the defense of Moscow", "For the defense of Odessa", "For for the Defense of Sevastopol", "For the Defense of Stalingrad", "For the defense of Kiev", "For the defense of the Caucasus", "For the defense of the Soviet Arctic", as well as persons with a badge "To a resident of besieged Leningrad" or a certificate to the medal "For Valiant Labor in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945".;

persons who worked for at least six months from June 22, 1941 to May 9, 1945, excluding the period of work in territories temporarily occupied by the enemy;

former underage prisoners of concentration camps, ghettos and other places of forced detention created by the Nazis and their allies during the Second World War.

2. The lists of citizens awarded the jubilee medal are compiled and approved in the following order::

The lists are compiled in the form No. 1 (attached) for citizens from among the persons specified in paragraph 1 of this regulation.:

the central offices of the National Security Committee, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Defense, the Republican Guard, the Presidential Security Service - for persons registered with these bodies;

by local executive authorities - at the place of residence.

The lists are signed by the officials responsible for their compilation and approved by the heads of central state and local executive bodies.

The responsibility for the correctness of the lists lies with the heads of these bodies.

3. Presentation of the jubilee medal "1941-1945 LJ. Uly Otan sogysyndagy Zheniske 60 zhyl" is produced on behalf and on behalf of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The medal is awarded, as a rule, at the place where the awardees are included in the list.

Together with the medal, the awardee is presented with a certificate of the established pattern.

4. Jubilee medal "1941-1945 LJ. Uly Otan sogysyndagi Zheniske 60 zhyl" is worn on the left side of the chest and is located after the medal "50 years of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945."

5. A corresponding entry is made in the list for awarding the jubilee medal.

Non-returned medals and certificates to them are returned to the Order's Storeroom of the Office of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan with an indication of the reasons for the return, which is marked accordingly in the lists.

Upon completion of the presentation of jubilee medals, the lists of awardees are subject to permanent storage in accordance with the established procedure. N990090

The central state and local executive bodies shall submit information on the awards of the jubilee medal in form No. 2 (attached) to the Office of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan by July 1, 2005.

Description of the Jubilee medal "1941-1945 LJ.Uly Otan sogysyndagi Zheniske 60 zhyl"

Jubilee Medal "1941-1945 LJ. Uly Otan sogysyndagi Zheniske 60 zhyl" is made of brass, has the shape of a circle with a diameter of 32 mm. On the obverse of the medal, the image of the Order of Victory is at the top, and the numbers "1945-2005" are at the bottom.

On the reverse side of the medal in the center is the inscription "1941-1945 LJ. Uly Otan sogysyndagi Zheniske 60 zhyl", with laurel branches around the circumference. The edges of the medal are bordered by a rim. All the images, inscriptions and numbers on the medal are in relief.

The medal is connected by means of an eyelet and a ring to a pentagonal block covered with a red silk moire ribbon. The width of the tape is 24 mm. There are five stripes along the edges of the ribbon: three black and two orange, each 1 mm wide. The extreme black stripes are bordered by orange stripes 0.5 mm wide.

The medal is attached to the clothes with a pin.
