On organizational and legal measures for the formation and development of the insurance market

DECREE of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated April 16, 1994 N 1658

Based on the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan Z933600_ "on the temporary granting of additional powers to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and local akims" in order to regulate insurance activities, relations between policyholders and insurers, and protect their rights and interests, I hereby decree:      

5. Create an insurance department within the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan for state regulation of insurance activities in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
