Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 5, 2001 No. 648.

Taking into account the outstanding contribution to the upbringing, training and professional development of a person, ensuring a consistently high level of higher and (or) postgraduate education, in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Education", I DECREE:

The footnote. The preamble is in the wording of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 07.11.2024 No. 695.

1. Assign a special status to the following organizations of higher and (or) postgraduate education:

1) Al-Farabi Kazakh National University;

2) L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University;

3) Kazakh National Agrarian University;

4) Kazakh National Research Technical University named after K.I. Satpayev;

5) Kazakh National Medical University named after S.D. Asfendiyarov;

6) Kazakh National Academy of Arts named after T.K. Zhurgenov;

7) Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory;

8) Kazakh National University of Arts;

9) Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abai;

10) Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

11) Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies under the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

12) Academy of Justice under the Supreme Judicial Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

13) Kazakh National Academy of Choreography;

14) National Defense University of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

15) Kazakh National Women's Pedagogical University;

16) The International Kazakh-Turkish University named after Khoja Ahmed Yasawi.

17) Kazakh National University of Water Management and Irrigation.

18) Karaganda University named after academician E.A. Buketov.

2) take other measures resulting from this Decree.

3. To invalidate the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated January 9, 1993 No. 1059.

4. This Decree comes into force from the date of signing.
