On Ratification of the Protocol on Amendments to the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic on State Border Crossing Points dated December 25, 2003

      To ratify the Protocol on Amendments to the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic on State Border Checkpoints dated December 25, 2003, signed in Astana on August 17, 2018.

Protocol          on amendments to the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic on State Border Crossing Points dated December 25, 2003      

      The Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic, hereinafter referred to as the Parties,        

      guided by Article 5 of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic on State Border Crossing Points dated December 25, 2003 (hereinafter referred to as the Agreement),        

      have agreed on the following:        

Article 1      

      Paragraphs 2 and 3 of the annex to the Agreement (hereinafter referred to as the annex) should be worded as follows:

Article 2    

      This Protocol is an integral part of the Agreement and shall enter into force on the date of receipt of the last written notification that the Parties have completed the internal procedures necessary for its entry into force.  

      This Protocol is valid until the termination of the Agreement.  

      Done in Astana on August 17, 2018, in two copies, each in the Kazakh, Kyrgyz and Russian languages, all texts being equally authentic.  

      In case of disagreement in the interpretation of the provisions of this Protocol, the Parties will be guided by the text in Russian.
