The Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic, hereinafter referred to as the Parties,

guided by Article 8 of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic on the procedure for the Stay of Citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the Territory of the Kyrgyz Republic and Citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic on the Territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated May 11, 2012 (hereinafter referred to as the Agreement),

Noting the increasing interest of the States Parties in the harmonization of their national legislation in the field of migration and the unification of travel documents,

have agreed on the following:

Article 1

Paragraphs 7 of Article 4 of the Agreement for both the Kyrgyz Republic of Kazakhstan and the Kyrgyz Republic should be deleted.

Article 2

Any disputes and disagreements between the Parties regarding the interpretation and application of the provisions of this Protocol shall be resolved through consultations and negotiations.

Article 3

This Protocol shall enter into force on the date of receipt, through diplomatic channels, of the last written notification that the Parties have completed the internal procedures necessary for entry into force.

Done in Bishkek on July 12, 2019, in two original copies, each in the Kazakh, Kyrgyz and Russian languages, all texts being equally authentic.
