To ratify the Protocol on Amendments to the Agreement between the member States of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization on the Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure, signed on June 7, 2002 in St. Petersburg (Russian Federation), signed in Tashkent on September 5, 2003.

 PROTOCOL on Amendments to the Agreement between the member States of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization on the Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure, signed on June 7, 2002 in St. Petersburg (Russian Federation)

The member States of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, in accordance with the Decision of the Heads of the member States of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization dated May 29, 2003 on amendments to the Agreement between the member States of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization on the Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure dated June 7, 2002 (hereinafter referred to as the Agreement), have concluded this Protocol on the following:

 Article 1

In the first paragraph of article 2 of the Agreement, the phrase "Bishkek of the Kyrgyz Republic" is changed to the phrase "Tashkent of the Republic of Uzbekistan".

 Article 2

This Protocol is subject to ratification and shall enter into force on the 30th day following the date of deposit of the fourth instrument of ratification with the depositary.

 Article 3

This Protocol is an integral part of the Agreement.

Done in Tashkent on September 5, 2003, in one original copy in the Russian and Chinese languages, both texts being equally authentic.
