To ratify the Protocol on Amendments to the Agreement between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation on the Application of International Treaties within the Framework of the Formation of the Customs Union dated May 28, 2010, signed in St. Petersburg on June 18, 2010.

PROTOCOL on Amendments to the Agreement between the Republic of Kazakhstan and By the Russian Federation on the application of international treaties within the framework of the formation of the Customs Union dated May 28, 2010

The Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation, hereinafter referred to as the Parties, wishing to amend the Agreement between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation on the Application of International Treaties within the Framework of the Formation of the Customs Union dated May 28, 2010 (hereinafter referred to as the Agreement) in order to continue mutually beneficial cooperation on the formation of the customs union within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Community and to ensure customs regulation on of the single Customs territory of the Customs Union, have agreed on the following:

Article 1

Paragraph 2 of article 2 of the Treaty should be supplemented with the following provisions:  Agreement on Free (Special) Economic Zones in the Customs Territory of the Customs Union and the Customs procedure of the Free Customs zone dated June 18, 2010;  Agreement on Free Warehouses and Free Warehouse Customs Procedure dated June 18, 2010;  Agreement on the procedure for Individuals to Move Goods for Personal Use across the Customs Border of the Customs Union and perform Customs Operations Related to their Release, dated June 18, 2010;  Agreement on Exemption from the Use of Certain Forms of Customs Control by the Customs Authorities of the Member States of the Customs Union dated June 18, 2010;  Agreement on the Specifics of the Use of International Transportation Vehicles carrying passengers, as well as trailers, semi-trailers, Containers and Public Railway Rolling Stock carrying Goods and (or) Baggage for Domestic Transportation through the Customs Territory of the Customs Union, dated June 18, 2010;  Agreement on the Specifics of Customs Operations in respect of Goods Sent by International Mail dated June 18, 2010.

Article 2

This Protocol shall enter into force in accordance with the procedure established by Article 8 of the Treaty, but not earlier than the entry into force of the Treaty, and shall apply provisionally from July 1, 2010.

Done in St. Petersburg on June 18, 2010, in two original copies in Russian.
