On renaming individual administrative-territorial units of the Akmola region and changing their transcription

Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated November 14, 1997 N 3759

In accordance with Article 9 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 8, 1993 Z934200_ "On the Administrative-territorial structure of the Republic of Kazakhstan"

I decree:

1. Rename: Alekseevsky district - to Akkol district; Alekseevka - to Akkol; Balkashinsky district - to Sandyktau district; Vishnevsky district - to Arshalynsky district; Krasnoznamensky district - to Egindykolsky district; Makinsky district - to Bulandinsky district; Derzhavinsky district - to Zharkainsky district.

2. Change the transcription: Ermentau district - to Yerementau district; Ermentau - to Yerementau; Kurgaldzhinsky district - to Korgalzhynsky district.

3. This Decree shall enter into force from the date of publication.
