On signing the Protocol to the Partnership and Cooperation Agreement Establishing Partnership between the Republic of Kazakhstan, on the one hand, and the European Communities and their member States, on the other hand, taking into account the accession of the Czech Republic, the Republic of Estonia, the Republic of Cyprus, the Republic of Latvia, the Republic of Lithuania, the Republic of Hungary, the Republic of Malta, the Republic of Poland, the Republic of Slovenia and the Slovak Republic in the European Union

Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated April 30, 2004 No. 1352

I decree:

     1. To approve the draft Protocol to the Partnership and Cooperation Agreement establishing partnership between the Republic of Kazakhstan, on the one hand, and the European Communities and their member States, on the other hand, taking into account the accession of the Czech Republic, the Republic of Estonia, the Republic of Cyprus, the Republic of Latvia, the Republic of Lithuania, the Republic of Hungary, the Republic of Malta, the Republic of Poland, the Republic of Slovenia and the Slovak Republic to the European Union (hereinafter referred to as the Protocol).

     2. To authorize Konstantin Vasilyevich Zhigalov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Kingdom of Belgium, to sign the Protocol on behalf of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

     3. This Decree comes into force from the date of signing.
