On some issues of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan

Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated March 27, 2023 No. 152

In order to enhance the status of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan in accordance with Articles 10 and 33 of the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan", I HEREBY DECREE:

     1. The Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan:

     1) rename the non-profit joint-stock company "National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan" into the non-profit joint-stock company "National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan" under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter - the National Academy of Sciences);

     2) take other measures resulting from this Decree.

     2. To establish that the President of the National Academy of Sciences is appointed and dismissed by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

     3. This Decree shall enter into force from the date of signing.
