Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated May 22, 2013 No. 571
PRESS RELEASE
In order to optimize the management system of development institutions, financial organizations and the development of the national economy
I DECREE:
1. To the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan: 1) to create a joint–stock company "National Managing Holding "Baiterek" (hereinafter – JSC "NMH "Baiterek"); 2) to determine that JSC "NMH "Baiterek" is a national managing holding, the main activity of which is the management of the blocks of shares (shares of participation) of national institutions owned by it and transferred to the trust management development, national companies and other legal entities; 3) ensure: approval of the list of joint-stock companies, the state blocks of shares of which are transferred to pay for the outstanding shares of JSC NMH Baiterek, including joint-stock companies, in accordance with Appendix 1 to this Decree; transfer under the barter agreement of the republican property specified in Appendix 2 to this Decree to the ownership of the joint-stock company "Fund National Welfare of Samruk-Kazyna; by January 1, 2014, the development of the legislative framework for the activities of NMH Baiterek JSC in order to promote the development and diversification of the economy, attract investment, and develop clusters; 4) take other measures necessary to implement this Decree.
2. Control over the implementation of this Decree is entrusted to the Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
3. This Decree shall enter into force from the date of signing.
