On the abolition of the Zhanasemeysky district of the Semipalatinsk region, districts in the city of Shymkent and the assignment of the city of Lenger in the South Kazakhstan region to the category of cities of regional significance

Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated August 20, 1996 No. 3089

In accordance with Article 9 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 8, 1993 Z934200_ "On the administrative-territorial structure of the Republic of Kazakhstan", I decree:

1. To abolish Zhanasemeysky district of Semipalatinsk region.

2. To abolish districts in the city of Shymkent.

3. Classify the city of Lenger in the South Kazakhstan region as a city of regional significance.
