On the appointment of the election of deputies of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan on January 14, 2023

Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated November 26, 2022 No. 4

In accordance with subparagraph 2) of Article 44 of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Article 69 of the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated September 28, 1995 "On Elections in the Republic of Kazakhstan" in connection with the expiration in 2023 of the constitutional term of office of deputies of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, I DECREE:

     1. To schedule elections of deputies of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan for January 14, 2023.

     2. The Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the akims of Astana, Almaty and Shymkent, and the regions should take measures to provide organizational, logistical and financial support for the election of deputies to the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

     3. This Decree shall enter into force from the date of publication.
