On the creation of the Archive of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan

Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Dated January 14, 1994 No. 1502

In order to fully preserve the documentary evidence of the creation and development of the sovereign Republic of Kazakhstan and the activities of its President, as well as taking into account international practice,

performance:      

1. To create the Archive of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the basis of the Central State Archive of the Modern History of the Republic of Kazakhstan, retaining the status of the state archive.      

2. Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Kazakhstan:      

- to develop and submit the Regulations on the Archive for approval within one month;      

- to consider and resolve issues of the material and technical base of the Archive in order to ensure its normal functioning;      

- to implement the necessary organizational measures for the implementation of this Decree.
