On the determination of the competent authorities of the Republic of Kazakhstan under the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of Turkmenistan on cooperation in the fight against crime
Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated February 20, 2026, No. 90
In accordance with Article 3 of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of Turkmenistan on cooperation in the fight against crime, concluded in the city of Ashgabat on October 10, 2024 (hereinafter referred to as the Agreement), the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan DECIDES:
1. Designate the following bodies as the competent authorities of the Republic of Kazakhstan responsible for implementing the Agreement: the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan (by agreement), the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan (by agreement), the State Protection Service of the Republic of Kazakhstan (by agreement), the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Financial Monitoring (by agreement), and the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
2. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan shall notify the Government of Turkmenistan of the decision taken.
3. This resolution shall enter into force on the date of its signing.
