On the dissolution of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan of the fourth convocation and the appointment of early elections of deputies of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan

Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated November 16, 2011 No. 175

 In accordance with subparagraph 2) Articles 44, paragraph 1 of Article 63 of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, articles 85, 87 of the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Elections in the Republic of Kazakhstan"

I DECREE:      

1. To dissolve the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan of the fourth convocation.      

2. To appoint early elections of deputies of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, elected on party lists, on January 15, 2012.      

3. To appoint early elections of deputies of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, elected by the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, on January 16, 2012.      

4. The Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan shall organize the preparation and holding of early elections of deputies of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan.      

5. The Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the akims of Astana and Almaty, and the regions should immediately take all necessary measures to provide organizational, logistical, and financial support for the early elections of deputies to the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan.      

6. This Decree shall enter into force from the date of publication.
