On the formation of the National Space Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan

In accordance with subparagraph 3) of Article 44 of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, I HEREBY DECREE:
1. To reorganize the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan by separating the National Space Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter referred to as the Agency) with the transfer of functions and powers in the field of aerospace activities to it.
2. To the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan:
1) to abolish the Aerospace Committee of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
2) to ensure the transfer of the staffing of the abolished Aerospace Committee of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the created Agency;
3) take other necessary measures to implement this Decree.
3. To designate the Agency as the legal successor for the obligations of the abolished Aerospace Committee of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
4. Paragraph 1 of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated January 22, 1999 No. 6 "On the structure of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan" should be supplemented with the following paragraph:
"National Space Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan".
5. Control over the implementation of this Decree is entrusted to the Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
6. This Decree shall enter into force from the date of signing.
