On the identification of authorized bodies responsible for the implementation of the Agreement on Mutual Legal Assistance in Administrative Matters in the Field of Personal Data Exchange dated December 18, 2020

Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated October 31, 2022 No. 1062.

 In accordance with paragraph 3 of Article 17 of the Agreement on Mutual Legal Assistance in Administrative Matters in the Field of Personal Data Exchange, concluded on December 18, 2020 (hereinafter referred to as the Agreement), I HEREBY DECREE:

     1. To determine the list of central and other state bodies authorized to implement the provisions of the Agreement:

     The Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan - on issues of immovable property registered in the name of the personal data subject, on property obligations held by the personal data subject;

     The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan - on issues of citizenship, documents granting the right to permanent (temporary) stay (residence), migration registration or registration at the place of residence of citizens, third-country nationals and stateless persons, issuance of visas granting the right to enter, documents, identity documents;

     The General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan - on issues related to bringing a personal data subject to criminal or administrative responsibility.

     2. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan shall provide notification to the Executive Committee of the Commonwealth of Independent States on the list of central and other state bodies authorized to implement the provisions of the Agreement.

     3. This Decree shall enter into force from the date of its signing.
