On the intention of the Republic of Kazakhstan not to become a party to the Extradition Treaty between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of India

Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated February 2, 2026 No. 1166.

In accordance with paragraph 3 of Article 18 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On International Treaties of the Republic of Kazakhstan", I HEREBY DECREE:

     1. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in accordance with the procedure established by law, notify the Republic of India of the intention of the Republic of Kazakhstan not to become a party to the Extradition Treaty between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of India, concluded in New Delhi on January 24, 2009.

     2. This Decree shall enter into force from the date of its signing.
