On the introduction of a ban on the import of fresh chicken eggs into the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan

Order of the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated April 17, 2026 No. 146. Registered with the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan on April 20, 2026 No. 38486

 In accordance with paragraph 2 of Article 17 and paragraph 1 of Article 18 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Regulation of Trading Activities", subparagraph 11) paragraph 1 of Article 6, subparagraph 1) paragraph 2 of Article 22 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On National Security of the Republic of Kazakhstan", Article 29 of the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union, as well as Section 10 of Annex 7 to the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union, I ORDER:

     1. To impose a ban for a period of six months on the import of fresh chicken eggs (commodity nomenclature code for foreign economic activity of the Eurasian Economic Union: 040721) into the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan by all means of transport from third countries and from the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union, with the exception of transit of fresh chicken eggs through the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as their movement from the territory of one state-a member of the Eurasian Economic Union to the territory of another member State of the Eurasian Economic Union through the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

     2. The Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in accordance with the procedure established by law, shall inform the Eurasian Economic Commission on the application of measures to implement paragraph 1 of this order.

     3. The Department of Agri-food Markets and Processing of Agricultural Products of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in accordance with the procedure established by law, shall ensure:

     1) the state registration of this order in the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

     2) posting of this order on the Internet resource of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan after its official publication.

     4. Control over the execution of this order is entrusted to the supervising Vice Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

     5. This order shall enter into force from the date of its first official publication.
