On the standard and the procedure for the official use of the insignia of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan

Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 29, 1995 No. 2736

I DECREE:      

1. To establish that the standard and the breastplate of the President of the Republic are the official insignia of the highest official of the State.      

2. To approve the description of the standard of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan according to the appendix.      

3. Establish that:      

1) the location of the standard standard of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan is the office in the Residence of the President of the Republic in the capital of the Republic of Kazakhstan;      

2) the standard of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan is installed at the Residence of the Head of State in the capital of the Republic, above other residences during the stay of the President of the Republic, on vehicles of the President of the Republic;      

3) at solemn and other ceremonies with the participation of the Head of State, the National Flag or the standard of the President of the Republic shall be installed.      

4. To establish that the badge of the President of the Republic may be worn on the occasion of public holidays, during military parades, receptions of officials of foreign states and international organizations, official receptions on behalf of the President of the Republic, the opening of a session of Parliament, the presentation of state awards, as well as when the President of the Republic is an honored guest or attends a gala evening or concert, gives an official television interview during foreign visits in accordance with the protocol of the host country.      5. This Decree comes into force from the date of signing.

     The footnote. Appendix as amended by Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 31.10.2012 No. 414.

     The standard of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan is a blue cloth (the colors of the National Flag of the Republic of Kazakhstan) of rectangular shape with sides in a ratio of one to two. In the center of the rectangle there is an image of the National Coat of Arms of the Republic of Kazakhstan - the color of gold.    

The shaft has a national ornament in the form of a vertical stripe — the color of gold.      

The panel is bordered on three sides with gold fringe. The shaft of the standard is topped with a bronze finial of the "koshkar muyiz" type, to which a magnificent brush is attached.      

A silver bracket with the surname, first name and patronymic of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and dates indicating the date of his election are engraved on the shaft of the standard.
