Dear editors of the online publication Sputnik Georgia!
On your official Facebook page sputnik-georgia.ru a post was published with the participation of a citizen of the IAB, containing deliberately false, unreliable and untrue information.

The distributed material contains information that does not correspond to reality: publications attribute her participation in contests in which she did not participate. This publication contains statements and information that the IAB strongly disagrees with, as they are not based on real facts, are not supported by evidence, and mislead the public about its identity, activities, and reputation.
IAB has not given Sputnik Georgia editors, journalists or other third parties any consent, permission or authority to collect, process, use and disseminate information about itself, including the publication of personal data, images, personal information or other information contained in the disputed material. The dissemination of this information was carried out without her knowledge and consent, which in itself is a violation of her personal non-property rights.
According to the Constitution of Georgia, freedom of expression and dissemination of information cannot be exercised in violation of the rights and dignity of others, and the protection of human honor, dignity and reputation is one of the constitutional values protected by law. These rules also apply to foreigners. The legislation of Georgia explicitly allows for the restriction of freedom of speech to the extent necessary to protect the rights and legitimate interests of another person.
According to the provisions of the Civil Code of Georgia, a person about whom false and unreliable information has been disseminated has the right to demand the termination of the violation, the deletion of relevant information, the refutation of false information and compensation for moral damage. The responsibility to eliminate the consequences of spreading false information lies with the person who disseminated it, regardless of the form and method of publication.
In addition, in accordance with the Law of Georgia "On Freedom of Speech and Expression", the dissemination of knowingly false information does not enjoy legal protection, and a person whose rights are violated by such publication has the right to demand restoration of violated rights, including the removal of material and taking measures to prevent further dissemination of false information.
In connection with the above, we ask you to delete the publication that contains false information about the IAB within three working days from the date of receipt of this claim. In case of non-fulfillment of the requirements within the prescribed period, we will be forced to file a lawsuit with the court to protect the violated rights of the principal, as well as initiate bringing the publication to justice in accordance with the procedure established by law with the recovery of representative expenses in the amount of 1,000 US dollars, court costs and compensation for moral damage.
