SAFETY AND HEALTH INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE FOREMAN
1.General safety requirements
1.1. Persons at least 18 years of age who have completed upon admission to work are allowed to work independently as a Foreman: introductory instruction; unscheduled and targeted instruction; fire safety instruction; primary workplace instruction; electrical safety instruction at the workplace.
1.2. The foreman must: undergo repeated safety training at the workplace at least every three months; pass a knowledge test on the rules of the device and safe operation of lifting mechanisms; perform only the work that falls within his duties; use safe working methods; comply with the requirements prohibiting, warning, pointing and prescriptive signs and inscriptions, as well as signals given by train builders, drivers of vehicles; be extremely careful in places of traffic.
1.3. The foreman needs to know: effect on people of dangerous and harmful production factors arising during operation; General arrangement of the equipment, including ventilation systems; the device and safe operation of load-lifting mechanisms; requirements of industrial hygiene, electrical safety and fire safety; the location of first aid kits; work rules established in the enterprise; the requirements of this instruction, the instruction about measures of fire safety, manual safety; Be able to provide first aid to victims, use fire extinguishing equipment, and call the fire department if a fire occurs. 1.3. The foreman should be guided by the requirements of: -this instruction;
1.4. During work, the foreman may be affected by the following dangerous factors: - objects and tools falling from a height; -increased temperature of washing solutions; -increased humidity and air mobility in the work area; -increased noise levels; -moving vehicles, mechanisms, rolling stock;
1.5. The foreman must comply with the following fire safety requirements: - smoke only in designated areas; -know and be able to use primary fire extinguishing equipment.

1.6. For failure to comply with the safety requirements set out in these instructions, the Foreman is responsible in accordance with applicable law.
2.Safety requirements before starting work
2.1. Before starting work, the Superintendent must: tuck the loose ends of clothing so that it does not hang down; to establish the sequence of operations; to inspect their workplace; to use of the ventilation system; to check protections and safety devices; to check availability and serviceability tool, measuring instruments, templates, as well as their presence on the shelves and repair installations, spare parts and materials; to check availability of fire-fighting equipment; inspect the ladders, bridges, to ensure a reliable installation; Make sure that the workplace is well lit.
3.Safety requirements during operation. 3.1. Be attentive while working.
3.2. To monitor the correct execution of work methods by the staff of the kit.
3.3. Regularly and thoroughly carry out preventive inspection of machines.
3.4. The removal of machine guards should be carried out only when the machine is stopped and the electric motor is de-energized.
3.5. Use only the installed passageways. It is forbidden to climb over cars and crawl under them.
3.6. When working together, coordinate their actions with the actions of other workers.
3.7. It is forbidden to inspect and repair power grids, electrical equipment and electrical installations, replace electric lamps, as well as touch live parts and non-insulated wires.
3.8.When setting up and repairing machines: -carefully check the serviceability of individual parts; -do not leave protruding parts on exposed rotating parts; -make careful fastening of bolts;
3.9. The workplace and the passageways to it should be kept clean, preventing them from being cluttered with spare parts or removed parts.
3.11. Cleaning materials must be stored in metal boxes with tightly closed lids.
3.14. Before using ladders, make sure that it is in good working order, check the inventory number on their bowstrings, the date of the next test, belonging to the workshop, the presence of tips and ties, and the absence of chips.
3.15. Before starting the machine, warn others with a conditional signal.

4.Safety requirements in emergency situations
4.1. In case of an emergency, the foreman is obliged to stop work, immediately inform the management and continue to carry out his commands.
4.3. In case of emergency response, it is necessary to act in accordance with the approved emergency response plan.
4.4. In case of a fire that may lead to an explosion, it is necessary to: - immediately inform the fire department; -start extinguishing the fire; -organize the evacuation of people; - arrange a meeting of the fire department. When electrical equipment catches fire, use only carbon dioxide or powder fire extinguishers.
4.5. In case of damage to the insulation of electrical equipment, stop work, notify the master and resume work only after the damage has been repaired.
4.6. In case of injury or illness, the foreman must stop working, transfer duties to another person, notify the management and contact the medical center.
5.Safety requirements at the end of work
5.1. Upon completion of the work, the foreman must: -clean up the workplace and eliminate traces of spilled oil; -put tools, tools and accessories in a specially designated place; -collect the used cleaning material in metal boxes with a tightly closed lid;
5.2. The foreman must inform the management about all violations of the production process.
