        Group 15 Fats and oils of animal or vegetable origin and their cleavage products; prepared edible fats; waxes of animal or vegetable origin  

     Notes: 1.- This group does not include: (a) pork fat or poultry fat (heading 02.09); (b) cocoa butter, cocoa fat (heading 18.04); (c) food preparations containing more than 15% by weight.% of products of heading 04.05 (mainly group 21); (d) pork rinds (heading 23.01) or waste specified in headings 23.04-23.06;         (e) fatty acids, prepared waxes, medicines, paints, varnishes, soaps, perfumes, cosmetics or toilet products, sulphonated oils or other goods of Section VI; or (f) a fact derived from oils (heading 40.02). 2.- Heading 15.09 does not include oils derived from from olives, or olives, by solvent extraction (heading 15.10).         3.- Heading 15.18 does not include fats or oils or their fractions, denatured only in the usual way, to be included in headings corresponding to similar non-denatured fats, oils and their fractions.         4.- Soapstock, oilseed fusel and fat residues, stearin pitch, glycerin pitch and fat residues are included in heading 15.22.  

     Note to subheadings: 1.- For the purposes of subheadings 1514.11 and 1514.19, the term "rapeseed oil (from rapeseed or colza) with a low content of erucic acid" means a non-volatile oil containing less than 2% by weight.% of erucic acid.

       The Republic of Kazakhstan should accede to the International Convention on the Harmonized Commodity Description and Coding System, signed in Brussels on June 14, 1983, and the Protocol amending the International Convention on the Harmonized Commodity Description and Coding System, signed in Brussels on June 24, 1986.
