About the formation of the Cadet Corps of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan

Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 1, 1996 No. 3049

In order to train junior command personnel for the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, I decree: 1. To form the Cadet Corps of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan.      

2. Establish that:      

1) the total number of students in the Cadet Corps is 360 people;      

2) the location of the Cadet Corps is the city of Shchuchinsk, Kokshetau region.      

3. The Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan:      

1) to develop and approve the regulations on the Cadet Corps;      

2) to resolve the issues of the placement, logistical and financial support of the Cadet Corps within the limits of the appropriations provided for in the republican budget for 1996 for defense;      

3) to ensure the beginning of the educational process in the Cadet Corps on September 1, 1996;    

4) start construction of facilities of the Cadet Corps complex;      

5) take other necessary measures to ensure the activities of the Cadet Corps, resulting from this Decree.      

4. This Decree comes into force from the date of signing.
