Statement
According to the decision of the Disciplinary Commission of the DP on Transport dated July 05, 2022, Police Lieutenant Colonel M.R.K., who previously held the position of deputy head of the investigation of the LOP at the Airport of Almaty, was relieved of his post and left at the disposal of the Department. Subsequently, from July 6 to August 25, 2022, due to illness, he was forced to apply to the polyclinic of the Almaty city Hospital, as well as to the Sana Medical Center. As a result of the examination, doctors diagnosed a disease that requires long-term treatment with powerful drugs, namely renal urolithiasis with the formation of kidney stones. In accordance with Article 77 of the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On the Health of the People and the healthcare system", citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan have the right to freely choose a doctor and medical organization; receive medical and other services on a paid basis.; obtaining and providing relevant documents certifying the fact of temporary disability in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan. According to article 15 of the Air Defense System "On Law Enforcement Service," employees have the right to medical and sanatorium services. Article 65 of the same law states that salaries for employees during their temporary disability are paid in full.
Article 133 of the Labor Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan states that the employer is obliged to pay social benefits for temporary disability to employees at his own expense. The basis for the payment of social benefits for temporary disability are temporary disability certificates issued in accordance with the procedure determined by the authorized body in the field of healthcare. Social benefits for temporary disability are paid to employees from the first day of disability until the day of disability restoration.
