1. Individuals and legal entities operating in the process of production, transmission of electric energy and supply of electric energy provide information through the information system of the authorized body on the quality and volume of electricity supply, modes of consumption of electric energy, the condition of equipment, electrical networks and other property used for carrying out activities, measures for modernization, repair, reconstruction, replacement of the specified property, measures to improve energy efficiency and reduce losses of electric energy, measures to introduce technologies for the use of renewable energy sources, as well as other information in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2. The equipment of electric power facilities involved in the process of production, transmission, consumption of electric energy and supply of electric energy with devices of the automated commercial accounting system for electric energy and ensuring their functioning are determined by the rules of operation of the automated commercial accounting system for electric energy, approved by the authorized body.

3. The objectives of the information system of the authorized body are:

1) collection and processing of information on the state and forecast of the development of the electric power industry;

2) ensuring the formation of a forecast for the development of the electric power industry;

3) ensuring the quality and accessibility of public services provided through the information system of the authorized body.

4. The rules for the formation, maintenance and functioning of the unified state management system for the fuel and energy complex are determined, inter alia:

1) the procedure for data collection, processing, monitoring and analysis;

2) requirements for electric power industry informatization facilities;

3) requirements for hardware and software complexes of automated commercial accounting systems for energy resources;

4) requirements for automated process control systems;

5) technical requirements for server equipment and operating system for the functioning of an automated commercial accounting system;

6) requirements for information transmission technology in an intelligent electric power metering system;

7) requirements for measuring instruments, other equipment and intangible assets that account for the electric power industry and provide the possibility of connecting metering devices.

5. Individuals and legal entities engaged in the process of production, transmission of electric energy and supply of electric energy are required to provide access and integrate their hardware and software complexes of the automated system of commercial accounting of electric energy with the information system of the authorized body.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 9, 2004 No. 588.

This Law regulates public relations arising in the process of production, transmission and consumption of electric energy.
