Article 10. Toy Fire Safety Requirements of the Toy Safety Act

Article 10. Toy Fire Safety Requirements of the Toy Safety Act

     In order to ensure the fire safety of toys, the following requirements are established::

      1) Toys must not contain a dangerous flammable element.;  

      2) toys containing dangerous substances or preparations necessary for their action (materials for assembling models, manufacturing plastic or ceramic castings, equipment for enameling, photography or similar activities) must not contain substances or preparations that can ignite due to the leakage of volatile non-flammable components;  

      3) toys, except for percussion caps specified in subparagraph 10) of Article 3 of this Law, must not be explosive or contain elements or substances that become explosive when the toys are not used for their intended purpose.;  

      4) toys must not contain substances or preparations that are capable of forming explosive mixtures as a result of chemical reactions, heating or mixing with oxidizing substances, as well as volatile components that are flammable in the air and capable of forming flammable or explosive vapor-air mixtures.  

 

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 21, 2007 No. 306.

      This Law regulates public relations regarding the definition, establishment, application, execution and control of toy safety requirements.
