1. All cases of infectious and parasitic diseases and (or) poisoning, adverse manifestations after immunization are subject to registration by health care entities at the place of their detection, state accounting and reporting by state bodies and organizations of the sanitary and epidemiological service.

2. Cases of infectious and parasitic diseases and (or) poisoning of the population are subject to investigation by specialists of the state body in the field of sanitary and epidemiological welfare of the population.

3. Registration and investigation, record keeping and reporting of cases of infectious, parasitic diseases and (or) poisoning, adverse events after immunization shall be carried out in accordance with the procedure determined by the authorized body.

4. The investigation of cases of HIV infection among the population is carried out by specialists of healthcare entities engaged in the field of HIV prevention, in accordance with the procedure determined by the authorized body.

5. The state body in the field of sanitary and epidemiological welfare of the population, structural divisions of other state bodies engaged in activities in the field of sanitary and epidemiological welfare of the population, within seven calendar days from the date of receipt of an emergency notification, conduct an epidemiological investigation of cases of infectious and parasitic diseases and (or) poisoning of the population.

6. In the case of registration of quarantine and especially dangerous diseases in troops, divisions and departmental organizations, the terms of epidemiological investigations approved by the authorized body may be changed by the decision of the chief state sanitary doctors of other state bodies engaged in activities in the field of sanitary and epidemiological welfare of the population, depending on the place of registration.
