Article 11. Competence of authorized bodies in the field of state symbols of the Republic of Kazakhstan of the Constitutional Law on State Symbols of the Republic of Kazakhstan
1. Authorized body in the field of technical regulation and metrology:
1) develops and approves national standards of the State Flag and the State Emblem of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
2) develops standards for the National Flag and the National Coat of Arms of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
2-1) organizes work on the production of standards of the State Flag and the State Coat of Arms of the Republic of Kazakhstan, corresponding to national standards and their images, approved by this Constitutional Law;
3) carries out licensing for the manufacture of the National Flag and the National Emblem of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
4) monitors the licensee's compliance with the conditions specified in the license in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.;
5) exercise other powers stipulated by the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, acts of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
2. Authorized body on the use of state symbols of the Republic of Kazakhstan:
1) develops and approves rules for the replacement and destruction of the National Flag and the National Emblem of the Republic of Kazakhstan that do not comply with national standards;
2) creates an expert council on state symbols and heraldic signs, as well as develops and approves regulations on it.;
3) exercise other powers stipulated by the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, acts of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
