Article 113-6. Withdrawal of candidacy, cancellation of the decision to nominate a candidate for akim of the Constitutional Law on Elections in the Republic of Kazakhstan

     1. If a candidate for akim is self-nominated, he/she may withdraw his/her candidacy from the date of registration and two days before voting day by submitting a written application to the relevant territorial election commission.

     A candidate for akim nominated by a political party or a higher akim may withdraw his candidacy from the date of registration and two days before voting day by submitting a written application to the relevant territorial election commission and notifying the relevant branch (representative office) of the political party or the higher akim who nominated the candidate.

     2. The supreme governing body of the relevant branch (representative office) of a political party or the higher akim who nominated the candidate may, two days before registration, reverse its decision to nominate the candidate by notifying the candidate about it and sending an application for cancellation of the decision to nominate the candidate to the relevant territorial election commission, which on this basis does not register the candidate or cancels the decision. about candidate registration.
