Article 16. Contract for the provision of security services of the Law on Security Activities
1. Under the contract for the provision of security services, the contractor undertakes to provide the customer with security services determined by agreement of the parties in the manner, volume and for a fee determined by this contract.
2. The subjects of security activities may act as executors under the contract for the provision of security services (subject to the requirements of this Law):
1) specialized security units of the internal affairs bodies;
2) private security companies.
3) excluded by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 29, 2010 No. 372-IV (effective after one year from the date of enactment of the Law).
3. Individuals and legal entities may act as the customer under the security services agreement.
4. The contract for the provision of security services must contain information on the types of security services provided, as well as the number and date of issue of the contractor's license for the provision of security services.
5. The contract for the provision of security services must be concluded in writing. Failure to comply with the written form of the security services agreement entails its invalidity.

This Law establishes the legal basis of security activities in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, defines the status and powers of subjects engaged in security and security activities.
