Article 163. The use of prohibited means and methods of warfare The Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan
1 Ill-treatment of prisoners of war or civilians, deportation of civilians, destruction or looting of national property in the occupied territory, use of means and methods prohibited by an international treaty of the Republic of Kazakhstan in an armed conflict, –
are punishable by imprisonment for a term of ten to fifteen years with or without deprivation of citizenship of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
2 The use of weapons of mass destruction prohibited by an international treaty of the Republic of Kazakhstan,
is punishable by imprisonment for a term of fifteen to twenty years or by life imprisonment with or without deprivation of citizenship of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
