Article 17. Competence of the local labor inspection body of the Labor Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan

 Territorial division:

1) carries out state control over compliance with the labor legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, including occupational safety and health requirements;

2) monitors collective agreements submitted by employers;

3) conducts an analysis of the causes of occupational injuries and develops proposals for its prevention;

4) investigates accidents related to labor activity in accordance with the procedure established by this Code and other regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan.;

4-1) supervises the conclusion by the employer of an employee's compulsory accident insurance contract in the performance of his/her labor (official) duties;

4-2) monitors the fulfillment by the employer of the obligations provided for in Article 122 of this Code;

4-3) registers and keeps records of work-related accidents in accordance with the procedure established by the authorized state labor authority.;

5) excluded by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 05/04/2020 No. 321-VI (effective after ten calendar days after the date of its first official publication); 6) excluded by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 05/24/2018 No. 156-VI (effective after ten calendar days after the date of its first official publication);

7) interacts with representatives of employees and employers on improving occupational safety and health standards;

8) considers appeals from employees, employers and their representatives regarding compliance with the labor legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, including occupational safety and health;

9) monitors the certification of production facilities according to working conditions;

10) excluded by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 05/24/2018 No. 156-VI (effective ten calendar days after the date of its first official publication);

11) submits periodic reports to the authorized state body on labor, as well as the results of monitoring the state of occupational safety and health on the basis of the information system on occupational safety and security;

12) monitors collective labor disputes in accordance with the form established by the authorized state body for labor;

13) submits the necessary information on labor relations to the authorized state body for labor; - Excluded by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

14) carries out the declaration of the employer's activities.

15) provides information from the unified accounting system of employment contracts to individuals and legal entities, taking into account the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on personal data and their protection.
