Article 17. Licensing of activities in the field of healthcare Code on the Health of the People and the Healthcare System of the Republic of Kazakhstan
1. The following types of activities are licensed in the field of healthcare:
1) medical activity;
2) Pharmaceutical activity;
3) activities related to the trafficking of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors in the field of healthcare;
4) import into the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan from non-member states of the Eurasian Economic Union and export from the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan to these states of human organs (parts of organs) and (or) tissues (parts of tissues), blood and its components.
5) provision of disinfection, disinfection, and deratization services in the field of healthcare.
2. The procedure and conditions for issuing and reissuing licenses and (or) appendices to licenses and duplicates of licenses and (or) appendices to licenses, carrying out permissive control, suspension, renewal and termination of licenses and (or) appendices to licenses for medical or pharmaceutical activities are established by the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Permits and Notifications" and "On narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, their analogues and precursors and measures to counteract their illicit trafficking and abuse."
3. The procedure and conditions for issuing and reissuing licenses and duplicates of licenses, carrying out permissive control, suspension, renewal and termination of licenses for the provision of disinfection, disinfection, and deratization services in the field of healthcare are established by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Permits and Notifications".
