Article 173. Assignment of the case to trial of the Civil Procedure Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan

The judge, having recognized the case as prepared, notifies the parties and other persons participating in the case about the time and place of consideration of the case at the court session.

The trial must be initiated no later than twenty working days from the date of completion of its preparation.

As a rule, postponement of the scheduled trial is not allowed, except for the cases provided for in Article 198 of this Code.
