Article 18-2. Retaliatory measures of the Trade Regulation Act
In order to effectively protect the economic interests of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, based on proposals from central government agencies, introduces retaliatory measures in the event that a third party or a member State of the Eurasian Economic Union:
1) does not fulfill obligations assumed under international treaties with respect to the Republic of Kazakhstan;
2) takes measures that violate the economic interests of the Republic of Kazakhstan, including measures that unreasonably close (restrict) goods (services, capital, labor) of Kazakh origin have access to the market of a third party or a member State of the Eurasian Economic Union or are otherwise unreasonably discriminated against.
The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated April 12, 2004 No. 544.
This Law regulates public relations in the sphere of trade activity, establishes the principles and organizational bases of its state regulation.
