Article 193. Theft of items of special value of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan

1 Theft of objects or documents of special historical, scientific, artistic or cultural value, regardless of the method of theft –

     is punishable by imprisonment for a term of three to six years with or without confiscation of property.

2 The same act committed by:

     1) by a group of persons by prior agreement;

     2) repeatedly, –

     is punishable by imprisonment for a term of seven to ten years with confiscation of property.

3 The acts provided for in the first or second parts of this Article, if they:

     1) committed by a criminal group;

     2) have caused the destruction or damage of the objects or documents specified in the first part of this article, –

     are punishable by imprisonment for a term of ten to twelve years with confiscation of property.
