Article 2 Legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on restoration of insolvency and bankruptcy of citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan The Law on the Restoration of Solvency and Bankruptcy of Citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan

1. The legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the restoration of solvency and bankruptcy of citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan is based on the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan and consists of the Civil Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, this Law and other regulatory legal acts.

2. If an international treaty ratified by the Republic of Kazakhstan establishes rules other than those contained in this Law, the rules of the international treaty shall apply.

This Law regulates public relations arising in the event of the insolvency of a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan, establishes the grounds for the application of the procedure for restoring solvency, as well as the procedures for out-of-court and judicial bankruptcy, the procedure and conditions for their conduct.
