Article 2. Purpose, objectives and principles of the Center's activities and its regulation of the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan On the Astana International Financial Center

     1. The purpose of the Center is to form a leading international financial services center.

     2. The objectives of the Center are:

     1) assistance in attracting investments into the economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan by creating an attractive environment for investment in financial services;

     2) development of the securities market of the Republic of Kazakhstan, ensuring its integration with international capital markets;

     3) development of the insurance market, banking services, Islamic finance, financial technologies, digital assets, e-commerce and innovative projects in the Republic of Kazakhstan;

     4) development of financial and professional services based on the best international practices;

     5) Gaining international recognition as a financial center.

     3. The Center's activities are based on the following principles:

     1) the effectiveness of the Center's participants;

     2) transparency of the activities of the Center and its participants;

     3) the integrity of the Center's participants;

     4) the professionalism of the Center's participants in providing financial services;

     5) the application of international standards and best international practices in the activities of the Center's participants.

     4. The Center is regulated in accordance with the principle of independence of the Center and its participants.
