Article 2. The application of the penal enforcement legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in space and time. Penal Enforcement Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

     1. The penal enforcement legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan applies to convicts whose sentences or other measures of criminal‑legal impact are carried out on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

     2. The execution and serving of punishments and other measures of criminal‑legal impact, the application of means of correction to convicts, as well as the provision of assistance to released convicts are carried out in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in force at the time of their execution.
