Article 20. Issuance of a sanitary and epidemiological conclusion Code on the Health of the People and the Healthcare System of the Republic of Kazakhstan

     A sanitary and epidemiological conclusion is issued by a state body in the field of sanitary and epidemiological welfare of the population or a structural subdivision of other state bodies engaged in activities in the field of sanitary and epidemiological welfare of the population, based on the results of preventive control and (or) sanitary and epidemiological expertise on:

     1) industrial and civil facilities;

     2) draft regulatory documentation on maximum permissible emissions and maximum permissible discharges of harmful substances and physical factors into the environment, sanitary protection zones;

     3) projects for the establishment of estimated (preliminary) and established (final) sanitary protection zones;

     4) raw materials and products;

     5) materials on chemical, biological, toxicological, and radiological stress on soil, water bodies, and atmospheric air.
