1. Business entities are citizens, individuals and non-governmental commercial legal entities engaged in entrepreneurial activity (private business entities), state-owned enterprises (public business entities).

2. An individual who is a business entity is registered as an individual entrepreneur in accordance with the procedure provided for by this Code.

3. A legal entity that is a business entity may be established in the organizational and legal form provided for by the Civil Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
