Article 260. Undergoing terrorist or extremist training The Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan

Article 260. Undergoing terrorist or extremist training  The Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan

     The passage of a person, including outside the Republic of Kazakhstan, training, obviously for the student, aimed at acquiring the skills and abilities to commit a terrorist or extremist crime, –

     is punishable by imprisonment for a term of three to seven years with or without confiscation of property.

     Note. A person who has committed a crime provided for in this article shall be released from criminal liability if he voluntarily informed about the training, helped identify other persons who have completed such training, carried out, organized or financed such training, provided information about the place where it was conducted and if his actions do not contain any other corpus delicti.
