1. The green Fund of urban and rural settlements is a set of territories where forests and other plantings are located.

2. The protection of the green fund of urban and rural settlements provides for a system of measures that ensure the preservation and development of the green fund and are necessary for the normalization of the ecological situation and the creation of a favorable environment.

3. In the territories that are part of the green fund, it is prohibited to carry out activities that have a negative impact on these territories and hinder their performance of ecological, sanitary, hygienic and recreational functions.

4. Protection, protection and reproduction of forests, afforestation in the territories specified in paragraph 1 of this Article, are carried out in accordance with the forest legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
