1. The special nature of military service in the National Guard and the responsibility of military personnel established by this Law are compensated by additional social rights and benefits for military personnel and their family members in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Military Service and the Status of military personnel" and the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on social protection.

2. Military personnel serving in tuberculosis institutions of the penal system are subject to the benefits established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan for this category of medical workers.

3. During the period when National Guard servicemen are involved in performing tasks in isolation from their permanent location, in accordance with Article 10 of this Law, the period of military service counted in years of service is calculated at the rate of one day per three days and a three-fold salary is paid.

4. Provision of housing for military personnel and their family members is carried out in accordance with the procedure provided for by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Housing Relations".

This Law regulates public relations in the sphere of activity of the National Guard of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
